Zindo's Frequently Asked Questions:

  • What is Zindo.com? We are the Web-based mail-order mom and pop toy shop. We are not affiliated with any toy company (yet).  Our philosophy is that we won't sell or recommend anything to our customers that we wouldn't buy for ourselves.
  • How do I place an order? Surf the site and where you see a buy now button click on it to buy the item shown.  Click check out when you are done and our program will walk you through step by step.
  • How do you rate the condition of your products?Some of the items that are sold by Zindo have been played with over the years. I rate the toys with the following table.
Mint = Never played with
Good = Some Scratches.
Played with Condition = Some Wear and Scratches.
Very Played with Condition = Wear, Chew Marks, Scratches.
Better Than Nothing Condition = Allot Of Chew Marks, Scratches, Damaged.
  • What happens after I order something? You will receive an automatic e-mail  from Zindo.com.  You will then receive a personal e-mail from me with your total including shipping.  Payment MUST be received in 14 days, unless other arrangements have been made.
  • What if I decide I don't want what I ordered? You may cancel the order at any time.  All I ask is that you let me know.  Orders not paid for with-in 14 days will be added back to inventory and or used to fill back orders.
  • Can I buy the items that don't have a buy now under them? No.  I have decided to list items for people who just want to look and remember the toys of yesterday.
  • What currency should I use to pay for my order? Can I pay for an order using a check, money order or cash? All of the prices  are listed in U.S. dollars, though your credit card will be billed in the currency of your own country. The currency conversion will be handled by your credit card company based on the currency exchange rates offered by major banks in your country.  If you live in the United States, you pay the dollar amount shown on the order screen.
  • What is PayPal, Yahoo PayDirect, and Exchange Path, and how do credit card payments work? All three are like on-line banks.   You set up accounts with them.  You give them your Credit Card number and pay me through them.  Paypal and Yahoo will snail mail a form to you to verify you are who you say you are.  I have yet to get one from Exchange Path.  To sign up for any of them click the links at the bottom of the page.  Yahoo's PayDirect and Exchange Path will allow you to pay today.  Paypal will take a few days to set up.   WE DO NOT CHARGE YOU A FEE TO USE PayPal
  • What are the shipping costs? Most Customers buy more than one piece so shipping cost vary.   I have listed little people shipping cost as of 01/07/2000 below: Insurance will be $.85 extra.
  • One or two Little Person or Furniture   $1.50 (First class mail )
  • One to four Little People or Furniture $1.75   (First class mail )
  • One to six Little People or Furniture  $2.25    (First class mail )
  • One to ten Little People or Furniture $2.85    (First class mail )
  • One to 20 Little Person or Furniture $4.50    (Priority mail Insured)
  • One to 35 Little People or Furniture $4.85    (Priority mail Insured)
  • Little People Cars and Trucks will count as two pieces each
  • When will my order arrive? Zindo.com ships  99% of it's orders via United States Postal Service.  Delivery takes three to seven days from the time we ship your order, which is usually within 48 hours of your payment for the order. Deliveries sent via UPS are insured and can be tracked using the tracking number we provide you AFTER shipping your order.  Please consult the following table:

  • If you are paying by  MONEY ORDER, or CASH, we will ship your order with the charts time table.  If you pay by CHECK the item(s) that you have ordered will be held for you for 10 business days.  We must receive your payment before we can ship your merchandise.  This is for both our protection and yours--it prevents the problems that could arise should someone submit an order using another person's e-mail or snail-mail address.  
  • What about insurance for my order? Starting 01/01/2001 all orders over $20 will have a $1.00 charge for insurance unless the customer elects no insurance. Orders under $20.00, insurance is optional. This is for both Domestic and now Most International orders.
  • What is the Zindo's return policy? Each case is handled on a one on one basis. To date this has not been a problem.  We sell well described items.
  • Why does the box that my order came in look like it's already been around the world once or twice? Because it probably has.  Zindo.com is committed to protecting Earth's resources, and one of the ways we contribute to the "Green" movement is by using recycled boxes for some of our shipments.  We'll use just about any recycled box we can, so long as it can withstand the rigors of another domestic or international shipment.  Our boxes may not always look "pretty," but you can be assured that your merchandise will arrive in perfect condition.  Furthermore, by using recycled packaging,  Zindo.com is able to keep its overall shipping costs lower, and we pass that savings on to our customers in the form of lower prices.
  • Can I use Zindo's picture on my web-site?  No.
  • Are all of the products sold by Zindo brand-new? Zindo.com sells both new and used merchandise.  If a product is used, it will be noted as such.
  • Is Zindo open all the time? You may order from us 24 hours a day seven days a week.
  • Does Zindo.com have a 800 number? Yes, It is given out only after all other means have failed to fix a problem. It is unlisted to keep cost down and to make sure we don't get calls in the late night hours.
